The interior of the property was very clean with a comfortable family room for socializing:). The neighborhood felt very safe and the drive for groceries was not too long. The exterior amenities could have used a bit of love...the screened porch wasn't particularly clean and the floor fan provided for air circulation was dusty...we couldn't really use it without just adding more dust and pollen to the area. The upper deck of the dock offered AMAZING sunset views, but there was fowl excrement on all of the furniture so it was of limited use to us. I think it is VERY important for future renters to understand that this is OLD FLORIDA. Having grown up in New York, I experienced this version of Central Florida as a child. The home, although very nice inside, still feels like a trailer. The backyard walk to the dock is extremely swampy. There is mold/mildew (we ended up buying washing machine cleaner in order to remove mildew build-up before doing laundry). These aren't exactly complaints about the upkeep of the unit...I mention these things merely as a heads up. Don't book this home and expect a modern Sunshine State vacation. However, I can totally see how some would consider this as quaint.

We had such a great stay at this property. From the dock to the living quarters it was all around fantastic. Our party included 5 adults and we were extremely comfortable the entire time. Having direct access to the river and lake made this the perfect stay. Will definitely visit this property again.
We found the home to be perfect to what we were looking for. Beautifull view, clean, awesome kitchen .We spent most of the time on large screened in porch. We would stay there again.
