  From the moment you pull in the driveway you know this is going to be a good experience. The patio is welcoming with a full patio set and cushions. Going into main building you walk into a full kitchen with range and stove and microwave and a full size refrigerator. In the kitchen you will find everything you need including a full spice Pantry pots and pans and plates. A warm and welcoming living room eating area, with ceiling fans coffee bar and comfortable furniture. Two full bedrooms with bedroom furniture including full bureaus and closets space. Walking back outside to the patio there is the laundry room full washer and dryer. The backyard is welcoming with patio lights backyard furniture, outdoor shower. I am an artist that was traveling for a month in Florida doing shows and this was by far the best location I stayed in and the most clean and comfortable location. Communication with the host is instantaneous and when I needed to check in an hour early I was given that approval and everything was clean and ready. I would stay at this location anytime I travel to the Sarasota area

• Quiet and Clean Cottage

  The hosts were amazing! They checked in making sure I had everything I needed. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The cottage is beautifully maintained, thoughtfully decorated, and stocked with absolutely everything you could need for a relaxing getaway. You can see the time that the hosts put into making this a comfortable place to stay and their attention to detail. The neighborhood was quiet, easy off street parking and near everything I wanted to visit in the Englewood area.

  If you’re looking for a cozy beach escape with all the comforts of home, this cottage is a true gem. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Englewood area!

• Small, Charming, and Perfectly Located

  We've been visiting Englewood for over 20 yrs, and this is truly the area you want to stay. It's a fun, easily walkable neighborhood with 2 county parks right on the bay at the end of the street, and with a short stroll to the shops and restaurants on Old Dearborn St. There's live music most nights. And you can walk to dinner or a bar at night and comfortably walk home without crossing busy roads. On Thursdays there's a great farmers market, one of the best we've every been to - cars line the streets to attend.

  Coastal Nest is a charming little beach bungalow. It's not big or fancy - and that's part of the appeal. It's clean, bright, and comfortable, with a brand new kitchen and everything you'll need for an easy stay. The outdoor shower was one of our favorite features after a day out. You can tell the owners put real thought into setting it up. The outdoor spaces are comfy and fun too.

  The beaches along Manasota Key are spectacular, with Englewood Beach closest at 3 miles away. And there are several restaurants and shops along Beach Road too.

  If you're looking for walkability, location, and a relaxed beach cottage vibe, this is a great spot!
