Great for a kayak trip
4/5 The place was clean and had everything we needed. We used the place next door called Rainbow River Canoe and Kayak. I loved that we could walk back and forth for our kayak trip. It didn’t bother us, but the place is not very private. There is a kayak company at the end of the dock that had a ton of people loading and unloading. There are sheer blinds in the windows which was a little weird with all of the strangers. Fortunately, we were all in good moods so it wasn’t a big deal. Some room darkening drapes would help.
Communication was good with the hosts and there weren’t any issues. I saw an earlier review about the grill being a problem, but it cooked our steaks just fine.
Nice apartment with a great view
4/5 This was a very nice apartment right on the water. We enjoyed our stay there. But it was listed as a apartment with a private kayak launch, (which I assumed that we would share this dock and kayak launch with the visitors upstairs) But apparently the kayak launch is leased to KPHole for people renting kayaks from them to come off the river there and get shuttled back to KP Hole. There was a lot of traffic here between 1:00-5:00PM. We were questioned twice by shuttle drivers of why we were using the launch since we didn’t have KP Hole arm bands on. This made it a disturbing to me. Other than that, our stay was very nice.
