  The house was a wonderful choice for our stay. It was very clean and well stocked with plenty of linens, which made settling in easy. Having access to a washer and dryer was especially convenient during our two-week visit. The kitchen included the basics needed to prepare simple meals, and the spacious outdoor area looks like it would be fantastic to enjoy in warmer weather. The neighborhood was quiet, felt very safe, and was perfect for walking our dog—several neighbors even greeted us warmly along the way. We would book this property again when visiting the area.

  Check-in was easy. I wish the host would communicate through the messages in the app - instead of via email. The house is spacious and we really liked having 4 bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have tv's in every bedroom. Thanks for having the coffee fully stocked upon arrival!Much like other guests stated in their reviews, the kitchen was severely under stocked for a house that sleeps 10. At least 1 cookie sheet would be helpful and certainly more than 4 forks. There were also no garbage bags, extra paper towel, and limited toilet paper - we bought all, including plastic silverware. On the surface the house was mostly clean, however the floors were quite dirty and the bathroom near the 2 bedrooms was dirty (floor, bathmats). The garbe bins were not empty when we arrived on Wednesday (trash day is Tuesday) so they were overflowing by the time we left - we had 10 people for 6 nights. Overall, I would consider renting this house again, but it may not be my first choice.

  The property was not cleaned when we checked in. I reached out to the host and management property and they sent cleaners out, but the rental wasn’t available to us until 8-9pm (check-in was at 4pm). We requested a partial refund due to lack of availability/cleanliness, but the host didn’t respond.

  We found the house to be clean and the host was fast to respond to any questions we had. The pool seemed to be very clean but not heated at all- in fact it was very cold. But the days we actually would have been able to use it were some of the freakiest cold weather Florida has had so maybe that had something to do with it. The pool is completely enclosed by a thin screen so you’re safe from mosquitos and any other large critters. The outdoor seating area was our favorite!!! There is a propane fire pit table but there was no propane. We asked the host about it and they said the city does not allow it. The house does have some pots and pans for cooking but not enough silverware for more than 5 people which was odd. The beds were super comfortable. Wi-Fi worked good and parking three cars in the driveway was not a problem.Couple places we found as good options to eat nearby: The Swamp House Riverfront Grill which is about 20 minute drive- has good gator bites and gator tacos if your looking to try some and the ambiance is very Bayou-esque. And the Colts Pig Stand in Orange City which is about 10 minutes away had excellent BBQ that the whole family loved!We would recommend this place and stay again. Just hope the weather is better and we get to use the pool more.
