  Great location and great house layout and design. Great set of amenities - everything you need. Host responds quickly. Enjoyed the wildlife. Several outdoor and indoor games. Nice kayaks. Pontoon rental just 10 minutes away. We never stay at a house twice but this place can easily be an exception.

• Amazing nature and a beautiful home.

  This was a great surprise! We have never been to the area before and didnt know what to expect but this property was a gem. Hidden in the Ocala National Forest right on a river bend it was basically a mini nature preserve with a beautiful, high tech home as base! We loved all the space and the cleanliness of the property. There were so many different animals to see just within cell phone zoom distance, very fun! The property manager was great, bailing us out of a mail situation that required them to drive on site with the key. The house was very well stocked with all the essentials you might need too which was a big plus too! We are already talking about another trip to the property to use it as a base for Disney World because it fit our needs so well with all of the small children and adults in our family! Everyone just loved the isolation and scenery.

  From the Owner: "Andrew, at Marker 38 you get 2 wildlife areas because it also borders the Lake Woodruff Wildlife Management reserve. It's fantastic that you were able to see all the critters. We try hard to keep the house fully stocked; thank you for noting that; it's important to Betsy and I. think, when you go to Disney when you return you won't have to ride the Jungle Cruise because you'll be staying in the middle of the jungle.   We are a group of long time friends from around the country that get together once a year to enjoy time together. We loved the house and the deck! Seeing the alligators and birds was awesome!

  We already booked for next May!

  The home was amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  The pool area was so relaxing and we also enjoyed the pool table. Best part though was the visiting sand cranes and turkey. The hosts are very attentive and we can't wait to stay again!

• Total Relaxation

  We had the most amazing week at this gorgeous property. The owners thought of everything. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace of the St John’s river and spent the week taking in the wildlife. Our favorite were a pair of Sandhill Cranes that visited several times a day. We were so entertained by their dancing and trumpeting. We hiked the St Francis trail in Ocala national forest which was right down the road. We took a 1/2 day nature boat trip with Highland Park Fish Camp. They took us to Lake Woodruff National Refuge, Deleon Springs and Blue Springs. This property is so amazing and we didn't want to leave. Thank you for a magical week. We can’t wait to return.
