  Amazing property rich in history with incredible decor. Owner was the perfect host; very friendly and communicative. Speak easy downstairs was something to experience. I cannot wait to visit again!!

• On the Band Played On

  The house was beautiful and very clean. It is a historic home and the owner did an exceptional job of restoring it. However, we thought that we would have access to the entire house but were told when we arrived that someone else would be staying in the upstairs and that there was a jazz club on the floor below. The band played until midnight Friday, Saturday and Sunday and the house was located in a not so desirable location. I feel that we would not have chosen the Hunt House had the owner made these things known to us when we elected to stay there. I hope the owner will let the next renters aware of this before they commit.

  -The historic charm of the house is something we're proud of, and we're glad you appreciated the restoration efforts.
  -The listing specifies that the home is located in downtown Daytona Beach and includes photos of all areas available to guests.
  -We list prior to booking that there would be another bookable vacation rentals on site and that a bar operates on the floor below with it's operating hours.
  -We'll ensure that future guests are fully aware of the shared space and neighborhood details before booking.

  Mr. Hunt was extremely welcoming! He gave us the history of the house as well as his account of each room and the decor history. You will NOT find another house like this one that hold a large family. The renovation was done tastefully and beautifully. So much character!! The beds are comfortable, plenty of HOT water, lots of essentials for cooking, and the jazz pub attached is an added bonus! The house is walking distance to restaurants and a coffee shop. There is on street parking and a lot across the street. Super convenient. Our family of 12 rented the house for an event at the Daytona Speedway, the house is only a few miles from there and also super close to the beach! I highly recommend this house to anyone! We will be booking again for next year and look forward to seeing the restaurant he is adding, being completed. Location, host, and house A+++++
