Bed Bugs
1/5 Upon check-in we were instructed to visit the clubhouse for a visitors pass. It was actually the bar in the back and was a clipboard with paper. The home is very dated, but appeared ok. You could clearly see patched holes in the wall, old paint, brown toilet seats, and a smoke detector battery that needed changed. Since the home was clearly recently clean we ignored the cosmetic issues. Our last night there one of the kids woke up saying she thought that she got bit. Upon researching the mattress we found bed bugs. The cleaning crew was there before we left because I’m sure someone else was occupying the home after us. I told her about the bugs but there was no concern. I hope no one else is staying there until that issue is fixed.
