  When booking we thought that the pool was behind the house, in which it was not at all. We also thought the slide was available to all ages and my daughter could not use the slide. We also did not know we couldn’t bring our own alcohol beverages to the pool and we had to purchase from Regal Palms. We thought the amenities we would pay for per day when using not had to pay for days we didn’t even use them!! If I had known all these details prior to booking I would have booked elsewhere!!

  Our stay was wonderful. The pool was crowded but the kids really enjoyed themselves. The township could have used some updating but it fit what we needed and it was available on a short notice. There were some flying gnats by the pool which was annoying but the kids really enjoyed the pool slide and lazy river. Out of 5 stars I would give it a 4.5.

• Disrepair

  I am not sure how this property has a 4 star review on Google or any other site. The property needs major repair and updates…there wasn’t communication about the repairs needed or when people were entering our space to make repairs during our stay. We didn’t even have toilet paper enough to last for a family of 5 (one person per room) for the time we were there. I would never rebook here…and intend to ward off other travelers by reviewing on other sites. Things in need of repair or replacement: carpets are dirty to the point your feet turn brown while walking on them, smoke detectors going off for two nights are roughly 20 years old potentially a safety hazard, upstairs hallway lights stopped working, downstairs bedroom light flickers, soap dishes chipped, ceiling fans practically falling off the ceiling, living room tv doesn’t work after powering on, couch material is ripped, coffee table wobbles to the point if you touch it other then putting a glass on it it feels like it will break, expected to hand wash dishes (no dish soap), towels have large holes in them, and not enough toilet paper or paper towels for a short stay.

  I recently stayed at this VRBO this past week for a Disney vacation. It is about a 30 minute drive to get to Disney from the house. The drive wasn’t terrible but knowing we were going back to that VRBO every night was not worth the money.

  Let me start with check in — I arrived around 10:30PM and didn’t leave the check in place until an hour after since they didn’t have my updated reservation dates from the owner. After traveling all day, standing around waiting for the check in people to figure out the situation was very frustrating.

  It very clear from the images the house is not up to date but truly this place really needs to be updated and cleaned properly. The house may appear “clean” but once we started to look closer we noticed it wasn’t. We found a roach in one of our bedrooms and the sheets had dirt all over them. Not only does the place not have an overall cleanly or nice feeling, BUT we also had to keep the AC at 72 or would be charged a fee if the AC froze over…. It is late May and HOT!!! 72 is just not a comfortable temperature for most people to sleep or hangout in when it’s pushing 100 degrees outside. We also couldn’t figure out how to open the back door with its odd locking system.

  Overall, our stay would have been better in a different rental that was cleaner, updated, and more upkept.
