Clermont Vacation Rental with Pool: Near Disney!

  The Evolve Team is responsive. We didn't need their help during the stay but communications beforehand was detailed. The house was located in a nice neighborhood.

  Pros:

  1 King 1st floor pool entry ensuite bathroom - so cool to be able to step from pool into the large bedroom with shower and jacuzzi tub. The jacuzzi didn't work but nice to have a bath but gotta clean the tub first. One side of the large dresser had stained drawers. Bed was not very supportive but decent.

  1 Queen 1st floor - small room for a queen but it had a large dresser for clothes. Bed was so hard.

  1 King 2nd Floor ensuite bathroom - the master bedroom had a walk in closet that was quite helpful, the en suite bathroom is a bit larger than the 1st floor Pool King and had a jacuzzi which didn't work either. Two sinks on a long vanity. Bed was a bit uncomfortable after the first week, we noticed backaches the 2nd week.

  2 twins in 2 bedrooms -

  Frozen theme Twin Bedroom 1 - standard twin beds with a nightstand and a nice sized closet. Beds were better than the kings.

  Star Wars Theme Twin Bedroom 2 - duvets changed but the layout and beds were same as twin 1.

  1 full bathroom 1st floor - Has a shower and conveniently located across from the laundry room.

  1 full bathroom 2nd floor - Has a shower/tub combo and is for the twin rooms.

  Laundry room has a deep washer and a large dryer.

  Kitchen is open concept with a 4 seat glass dinette and family lounge area with 3 sofas and a large TV.

  Pool was clean with the hot tub features off. The screens that cover the pool were intact and clean also.

  House upon entrance is a living room and a 6 seat glass dinner table. Then the stairs divide the front from the back open kitchen.

  Refrigerator is very nice and clean.

  AC ran smoothly and the house was always comfortable when coming from the extreme heat.

  Con:

  My husband grabbed the vacuum and mop from our relatives the day we moved in to clean. The cleaning supply is nowhere to be found. The corners and certain parts of the bathroom and kitchen were not properly cleaned. The decoration plants were so thick with dust. Given $300+ cleaning fee I paid, this is the worst cleaning job we ever encountered.

  No detergent no regular dish soup (Only pods for dishwasher), 1 small roll of paper towel, 1 roll of toilet paper on the rod for each bathroom (7 of us 2 weeks stay), 3 towels had holes in them, bed covers were musky. We washed all the beddings when we arrived.

  The pool area is a mess.

  This property was just as described by others. Comfortable clean beds, convenient to parks and activities, the game room in the garage was handy, and it was clean kind of. I say “kind of” because it needs a deep cleaning - the walls should be dusted, the upholstered furniture really should be replaced, it’s old, the dining room chairs are upholstered and a little too soft, there were enough towels so every one got 1. No more than that. We had 9 people and there were 9 towels. There was 1 dish towel. The pool itself was clean, but there are some old toys lying around and not much room to sit outside. All in all we had a great time visiting with family and all our needs were met. TheProperty manager was very responsive. I’d give it a 3.5.

  Home was great! The beds were amazing wish I could find out what the name of the beds were cause the was the best sleep I ever had!! Home is close to stores not far from Disney and had everything we need. Could have a few more towels but I also bring some for us to use for beach days. Our person of contact responded quickly and was very helpful. We love the area the neighbors were very nice. We would stay again!

  John, thanks for staying with us. We are sorry you encountered some issues during your stay.
  
  - We are sorry you experienced issues with pests. There was an ant issue due to the palm tree touching the roof and ants got in the house from there. We had the branch trimmed and called for pest service right away.
  
  - For the construction materials, because there was a roof issue we stored a few boxes of shingles in the garage so it can be continued after the guest checks out. We are sorry about this.
