We really enjoyed our time in Cedar Key. Lots of great restaurants, but don't go for the beach. Very mucky/yucky bottom. The complex has a nice pool and hot tub and Gulf front access for kayaking. We enjoyed sitting on our deck and watching the dolphins and birds daily. Especially loved the pink birds. It's great to be able to bring our dogs along on vacation too. The main town area and Dock Street are about a 5 minute walk. Tony's Clam Chowder will not disappoint, loved Duncan's, Steamers, and the Island Hotel Restuarant too. Outside of town, definitely stop in at the Tiki Bar, very unique spot.
Thanks for the hospitality.
The condo is as lovely as the pictures appear. The balcony is the best part! Perfect to sit and have a drink and watch the dolphins! We enjoyed the kayaks and being close enough to walk to most everything.

Loved the redo of this condo. Location is wonderful. Not having to deal with the nasty people in the office of Fennimore Mill was worth the extra price. After a discrepancy in the listing for the key for the kayaks, we did get to enjoy them as well!

Had a really good time and enjoyed the stay. Unit is close to town and all the food joints and well appointed. Cedar Key is not a college town and the crowd appears mature in general (fit well with my crowd). The town in general was fun to visit, but if you are looking for action packed or a wide variety entertainment options, you need to do more research. Will be back and do not miss out on the clams when in season.
