  • Great Location, Amenities NOT So Great Communication or Cleaning

    Location is superb, close to everything shopping wise. Cleaning is just OK, you can tell the shower curtains, curtains, dusting, etc doesn't get done too often..just surface cleaning of the most used areas. Bathroom counter was a bit dusty, so was the fake plants in them. They do provide just about everything most people would need to get started on their vacation. Now, I messaged ahead of time (couple of days) about what type of coffee maker, early checkin. My checkin request was denied because of people just leaving and cleaning time. I totally understand that. But later, no response to the coffee question, or a parking question, OR a late checkout request; we had to wait 30 min for cleaning to be completed the day of check in. Again, I understand things run behind, but to not respond at all to my questions is just very unprofessional. We had a great time, lounge chairs are rusted and need replacing, and we couldn't use them. Overall a great stay, I just don't feel like my cleaning fee was worth it and better communication would have been nice.

    To start with I had some questions about the property so a week before we were scheduled to check in I started calling and emailing. I did not hear from anyone until the day of check in. When we finally got to the property at midnight, we noticed a garden hose running on the Lanai. I sent a message the next morning on what to do about the running hose and never received a response. The house was surface clean but could use a good deep cleaning. We had to buy ant killer as the kitchen had ghost ants and the house had nothing to deal with them. We have stayed at a lot of properties and this is the first one that did not have a foil or baggie s and only 2 garbage bags for an entire week. Had to stand on the beds to operate the light and ceiling fans in bedroom as the switches on the wall didn’t work. Only 2 beach/pool towels for a pool that we found out on our last day by the pool guy that the pump was not working and had not been working for 2 weeks. On a good note the beds and pillows were very very comfortable.

    - We do understand that these amenities play a large role when guests book a property. We have a weekly pool maintenance crew and if the pool pump was an issue during your stay we should have been notified.
    - The hose was supposed to be in the pool to ensure that the water level was ready when you arrived. We ensure all amenities are working before every guest's arrival.
    - We’re sorry to hear you encountered some issues during your stay. Regarding your light switch concerns, perhaps the previous guest turned off the light/fan from the hanging chain since everything works properly.
    - We do wish you had reached out during your stay about operating the lights. We would've been happy to help you troubleshoot so that you could enjoy the home.
    - As is standard in the vacation rental industry, the owner provides a starter amount of essentials, and once that amount is out, it's typical for the guest to purchase more supplies, especially for longer stays or larger groups. While we try to accommodate all our guests' needs, we're sorry the complimentary supplies didn't meet your preferences.
    - We're sorry that we never heard from you during your stay. We do provide guests with detailed check-in instructions regarding who to contact if they need assistance.
    - We've confirmed that the pre-stay email was sent to you before your arrival, which included detailed check-in instructions and other important information about the property.
    - We apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. Since the home is surrounded by nature, ants can be found in the area and occasionally enter if doors or windows are left open.
    - We do have ongoing pest control that manages and protects the home from these issues so we wish you had contacted us during your stay.
    - While we do regret our home was not up to your expectations, we’re happy to share that no issues were reported by our most recent guests.
    - We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have a wonderful stay!

  • Beautiful house

    Beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood. The only thing I would change is letting the pool fountain and heater stay on past 5 pm. It turns off just when you want to relax around the pool.
