  We throughly enjoyed our stay at Dreamscapes!!! A beautiful home and town! The owners were very helpful with all information on house and great suggestions on places to eat & visit!

  We had an enjoyable vacation at Dreamscapes. It was a great getaway during this very strange season that we find ourselves in. My sister and I took our elder parents on this trip to allow them a change of scenery and keep them safe. The house was a great size for 6 adults and the pool and dock on the salt water canal were amazing.

  Pros- the pool is amazing, it is well maintained and provided a relaxing space in the heat of the Florida summer. The dock provides a great outdoor space to dry off from the pool, enjoy your morning coffee and watch the sky darken with your favorite night cap. The owners/property contact Brad was very responsive and open to all communication.

  Cons/Issues- I want to start by saying that all of these things are fixable and not complete game changers. The house needs much better cleaning. In conversation with Brad they have had some issues with prior guests and the cleaning crew. Be warned- the cleaning crew appears to only do a light cleaning. The drawers in all the kitchen and bathroom cabinets were pretty dirty, the shelves in the kitchen where very dusty. We spent a bit of time cleaning the kitchen to feel comfortable. The closets in the bedrooms and living area where a mess. Sheets and towels had been just thrown in any closet, they did not match and just appeared messy.

  When we arrived the outside in the pool area had not been weeded and look neglected, I contacted Brad and the lawn service did make an attempt to do some clean up but it was still a bit of an eye sore. There was a peddle boat on the dock but it was broke and Brad informed me that it had been damaged and guests are not to use it. I was not expecting to but it hanging off the dock and collecting water, again an eye sore. One of the bedrooms had broken blinds and did not close all the way and one bathroom had a broken window which was left open. The master bathroom had a broken light. Brad was very responsive and made efforts to correct the issues. The biggest issue was that the kitchen faucet stopped working. His “handyman” came to look at it and left us with a faucet that was unusable. I contacted Brad and he had the handyman come back and do a “quick fix” it was a shower head. It worked, but was not my idea of a fix. I still do not understand why a new faucet wasn’t installed.

  All the mattresses are memory foam so be warned they are hot and can make moving around difficult.

  Would I stay here again, yes

  Are the owners responsive, yes

  Does it need better maintenance and cleaning, yes

• Perfect Location for Vacation

  Brad and Michelle are amazing homeowners! They have a beautiful home in a prime location. We relaxed in the pool and the kids enjoyed watchIng the fish on the dock every night. The kayaks were a bonus for us to use as well.

  The owner’s manual offered suggestions for food and beach’s and we used it to decide what to do each day.

  We can’t wait to go back.

• Home away from home!

  The entire experience was excellent! Booking was a breeze and the personalized entry code to the electronic door lock was great for everyone in the family to access the home. The house was spotless on entry, and the layout of the home was absolutely perfect for my family of 5. The kitchen was well-equipped for more than our needs. The bedding was phenomenal with extreme comfort, and made me feel right at home.

  We especially enjoyed the dock and tiki area, morning and evening. Kayaks were an added bonus, and I really enjoyed going out in them. Kids really loved being able to fish off the dock, and we did catch several during our stay.

  The restaurants in Matlacha are very convenient and we enjoyed being able to have outdoor dining and entertainment just minutes from the home (location was great!).

  We took a private boat through Matlacha Boat Rentals, which turned out being the highlight of the trip. I would highly recommend for those staying who do not have their own boat!

  Upon booking, I was contacted from the owner within minutes and was given several suggestions on things to do in the area. Owners continued to be very responsive to text throughout our stay, which was extremely helpful in planning our days (and even a self-guided kayak adventure!).

  My only complaint was having to leave! We will most definitely return if the home is available for our future visits to the area.

• Perfect everything!!

  We have rented homes in Florida for the past 10 years and this was our families favorite! Perfect hosts, home, pool, canal, even the weather! We would recommend this home to anyone. Thank you Brad and Michelle for sharing your Dreamscape.
