    House needs lots of TLC, needs updated, cleaned well, take your own toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish washer soap & ice. No instructions about trash pickup, pool person, where to find thermostat, etc. Conveniently located, decent neighborhood.

  • Nice house-Not so good service


    It was a nice house that came with a pool, canal view and close to everything. That being said we had some problems with the service that came with the house.

    When we arrived, the pool looked a little green and had debris of seashells, foam pieces, and other items in it. I cleaned the debris out and we swam. Within a few days the pool looked greener and scum started to form on the sides and bottom. The jets and skimmer seemed to not be working. This was on a Wednesday evening. I called our contact on a Thursday and was told a pool guy would come Friday morning. The pool guy didn't show until Monday after I called again. He got things going and the pool looked great the rest of our stay. The problem is that we paid to have a pool and it was unusable for several days.

    One other issue was that a large curbside garbage can was left for us full of garbage and rotting fruit inside the garage right by the door into the house. I moved it outside and to the curb with roaches fleeing as I moved it.

    There were also only two hand towels in the house and one was damp when we arrived. It seemed like it didn't make the wash from the previous guest. We had to use a bath towel until we did laundry.

    The house itself was nice, the service with Evolve or whoever is supposed to make things ready is not good. The pool guy told me he was locked out from servicing the pool for two weeks prior to our arrival. That would explain why the pool was green. He also said we caught it just in time or it could have gotten much worse. Shouldn't someone at Evolve check this before the next guest comes?

    Manager's Response:

    Hi Tim, thanks for letting us know about your stay. After going over your feedback, the homeowner wanted to address the items that you mentioned:
    -The pool is cleaned weekly. There is no excuse for the pool servicer and we've since started a contract with a new provider.
    -Trash should be left on the side of the house and not in the garage unless a guest had put it there. Our apologies, the property manager or our cleaning team should have caught that and moved it outside.
    -There were more than two hand towels, and they are spread out among the bedrooms. We try to maintain a minimum of eight hand towels, washcloths, and bath towels, as well as an assortment of beach towels. When we heard of the shortage of hand towels, it was promptly addressed, as were any other concerns you brought to light.

  • Cape Coral vacation


    We love the area and love the house especially the pool. House needs some TLC but overall it was a great week.

    The property was nice and the area was very nice and quiet.y family loved the peacefulness. Loved the poor and back area. Great place, definitely would love to stay here again.
