  Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The place, however, was missing some basic amenities: (a) hand towels for the bathrooms (b) toiletries (except for hand soap) in any of the bathrooms; and (c) hairdryers. All rentals we have ever stayed at provide these (even in small sizes), especially when toiletries are mentioned in the listing. We reached out to property manager and were told "Sorry, we don't have those." This resulted in a trip to the store. Also, there were ants which ended up in some of our kids luggage home. We were told the place was recently treated for ants but it is still unpleasant to see them in the bedrooms.

We sincerely apologize for the oversight regarding the complimentary toiletries and any inconvenience this may have caused. To address this, we will ensure that complimentary sample-size toiletries, including shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, and a hair dryer, are provided for all future guests. Additionally, we use paper towel rolls in each bathroom for a more hygienic option, instead of cloth hand towels. Regarding the issue with ants, we understand how unpleasant this can be. Although ants are occasionally a concern at beach properties, they are not usually a problem at our house. We had a professional treatment in place before your stay, which aimed to eliminate the problem, but it seems to have led to some temporary visibility of ants. Rest assured this issue has since been completely eradicated. We genuinely appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve. We will follow up with a text to discuss your concerns further and ensure we address all of them. Thank you for your understanding."

  My experience staying at Barefoot Bungalow was amazing. The property is beautifully maintained, clean and decorated like I was at a resort. We’ll definitely be back!!

• Second Visit!

  This was our second time at this property. Our family had a great time here and exploring Fenwick! The owner is top notch and the property is well cared for. We certainly recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice location with pool amenities.

• Perfect Summer Rental

  The place was perfect for our group! Plenty of space for everyone, a great screened in deck where we enjoyed our crab fest (without getting swarmed by bugs), and a great location! Eric was super responsive and informative! We will be back next summer for sure!

• Fantastic Vacation Home!

  Five of us went up to celebrate our Birthdays for the months of April and May! This was by far one of our best girl's trips in quite a while. The house was very clean and spacious in a beautiful walkable neighborhood. All of the amenities were just like being at home and we did not want for anything. We found some really good restaurants, all within a ten mile radius of the home. The host couldn't have been more gracious and responsive to any questions we had during our stay. We are already talking about a return visit in the near future.
