    Check in at 3, arrived at 4:30. Gate code provided (this is a gated community) did not work. Called contact person - she said they had just let her know 30 mins prior that code was no longer going to work. She said to just wait for someone to enter and follow them in because she had the same code I did and didn’t know what to do yet. She would call me back.

    We got to house, house at first glance looked good. But then noticed no towels or rugs in bathrooms. Downstairs bathroom had hand soap but very little and watered down, shower had bar of soap from last guest . Downstairs bedroom - had dirty tissue on top of dresser. One pillow did not have a pillow case. Extra pillow cases, blanket and sheet were thrown on floor in the corner of closet.

    Towels were found still in the dryer, rugs were on top of the dryer.

    There were ant traps around kitchen and living room but rainy season, normal right?

    Upstairs bedroom with twin bed, one bed was clearly slept in.

    Was going to address this when I spoke to contact person when she called back about gate code.

    We went food shopping, came home and put things away- still no response from contact person. 8:15pm I texted, asked for an update and about pool passes. About 15 mins later, texted again and said I was good on passes, just needed an update on gate code. 9:15, she texted back and said she has to pick up gate fob and will bring it to me the next day.

    The next day we woke up and ants were EVERYWHERE!, in unopened food we just purchase and all. We cleaned up ants, mopping floor and wiping down entire counter and double bagged food. I called her 2 times and waited around til 1:30. We left and returned about 9.

    I texted her, no update - never heard from her again.

    Purchased ant traps and spray, helped but ants were so out of control we had to mop and wipe down counters every morning/ night. We couldn’t hang out around table because ants would be crawling all over us. We think they here nested in the weave of the chairs.

    I never saw, heard or received a text from our contact person - we had to wait for someone to go through the gate everytime we came back.

    Did find home owners number reached out and shared issues but just an apology was received.

    While driving home had about 10 ants on me- got home and had to leave my stuff in garage because there were still ants.

    By far the most disappointing home I’ve ever rented. Enjoyed the area, not the home. Home owner needs a new property mgr!

    - As we value communication with our guests, we confirmed that our Property Manager was well in contact with you throughout your entire stay. Aside from the initial concern about gaining entry at the gate, she confirmed that not received any other complaint. If you had reached out, we would have been happy to assist you in addressing your concerns immediately. To ensure guest satisfaction, our Property Manager had also asked if everything was alright and she didn't receive any reply.
    We truly go above and beyond, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays.
