Nice Stay
5/5 We stayed for a couple of nights here. It served our purpose of having a place to be away from the rest of the family and a place to be together. The beds were comfortable. We didn't cook or use the grill space in the back yard, but the rest of our stay was fine. While there are beds for up to 6, the seating in the living room and in then eat-in kitchen doesn't quite support that. Had quick communication on an issue when we arrived.

Small Old House Near Laurel, DE
3/5 Less than hoped for. Best feature was location near Laurel, DE. Overall rooms were small, beds were short, bathrooms especially tight. Thermostat controls were in locked wall box. Had to call twice to have adjusted. Inconsistent TV service (no cable). No ice maker or even trays. Uneven floors with steps to one room. Front door needs adjustment; slammed when used. Cooking essentials were adequate & new washer - dryer was appreciated. They are trying but overpriced.

- We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced with the thermostat. We always want our guests to feel comfortable, and we gladly adjusted the temperature every time you reached out to us.
- While the house may be old, we take great pride in maintaining it in good condition.
- We want to clarify that the size of the house is indeed stated in the listing to provide transparency, and we want all our guests to be aware of the space they'll be staying in.
- Regarding the kitchen amenities, we assure you that we have a full set of 8 for many items, including plates, bowls, and silverware. We also have several pots and pans, along with juicers and bakeware.
- Lastly, we understand the importance of safety, and we have a sign to inform our guests about the step down to the bedroom area.
