  We had a great experience staying in this house. The owner was incredibly responsive, kind, and offered great suggestions of places to go. The home itself was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and well furnished (so many great books throughout the house!). My family would definitely stay here again.

• Amazing home in great location!

  We had an amazing trip to DC, and a staying at RoK House was a big part of it. The communication from the owners was amazing and the home itself was beautiful. It truly felt like coming home at the end of a busy day of sightseeing! We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in the area.

• Gem in SE near Oxen Run Park

  We had family coming into town and needed a local place for them to stay at the last minute. Luckily, we found a gem of a place a stones throw from the beautiful Oxen Run Park in SE DC/MD.

  The house is wonderful, clean, spacious and homey. We love this neighborhood as well, as it is near a big park, walking distance to 2 playgrounds and less than a mile from the Oxen Run Amphitheatre/Park/Baseball field/BBQ spot. There is also a walking trail through the park that starts just 2 blocks from the house.

  Inside the kitchen is fabulous and fully appointed, which as great for our family dinner. The bedrooms are big and spacious. It is a wonderful place, but not so fragile that children cannot come. The backyard is also amazing with plenty of spots to sit, eat and relax and a great place for morning coffee (it was too hot outside to use all the time, but we really want to try it out on a fall evening).

  Fit my whole party comfortably. Beautiful interior with a great outdoor seating! Linens, kitchen, furniture, were all clean and ready for use. Easy drive to downtown DC. Owners were prompt and courteous. Would stay again!

• Great Stay

  The house had a vintage feeling with modern amenities. Each of the five adults who stayed within the home slept very comfortably and had nothing but positive things to say about their stay. The decor was clearly meticulously thought out and creative yet tasteful art was spread throughout the rental. In terms of cleanliness the home was spotless! If we had to stay in the area again the house would certainly be a top contender.
