  A rat ran across the kitchen at night a few days into our stay. We contacted the owner and company and were told if we stayed they’d have the place cleaned and pest control would come while we were out. We were out in the city all evening and came back to absolutely nothing done and no contact from the owner.

  We also saw large cockroaches outside the building entrance and on the sidewalks in the neighborhood during our stay. Overall, the property did not feel properly maintained, and the response to such a serious cleanliness and health issue was unacceptable.

  We felt so uncomfortable and unsafe that we had to cut our stay short and quickly evacuate the premises. I would not think of staying here again and I absolutely would not recommend it to anyone I cared about.

  Absolutely LOVED our stay. When you look at the outside pictures on Google maps it can look a little sketchy but the area is clearly going through gentrification. Every single neighbor we met was kind and friendly. I couldn't find parking behind the building (unless it was on the grass) but I was able to park in front and since the location is right next to a bus stop I didn't have to move my car the entire time we were there. SUCH a convenient location without being dead in the middle of congestion. I will say grocery shopping in DC is an experience and there isnt one super close so I decided Door Dashing my groceries was easier. There is a Farmers Market on Sunday morning just a quick walk down the street where I found wonderful baked products and artists jewelry. The apartment itself is very nice and clean!! Well equipped as well. If anything I would say the pictures do not do it justice. We came to DC for my daughters 22 birthday and her gasp when we walked in was well worth it. Thank you! If you ever want a long term tenant she is ready to move there. :)

  I cant reccomend anyone stay here. I wont be coming back to this location. The area this place is is not safe. Its close to a bus station tk get downtown but ubering everywhere was a must because of the neighborhood. The last day i decided to take the bus thats a block away to the airport. I was almost assulted by someone who was screaming racist profanities at me. The entire stay the toilet didnt work properly, you have to move the plunger inside the bowl everytime or it doesnt flush. I saw this was in other reviews but nothing was ever done. The internet was out for a day and a half, a third of our stay. It got fixed but the tv runs on internet, so no internet and no tv. There was still hair all over the shower. I guess the good thing was the bed was comfortable. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

  The property was very clean, updated, and beautifully decorated. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly to questions. The bus stop is right around corner. This is a great place to stay in the city.
