We enjoyed our stay at Paradise. The house is very clean, nice and roomy. The stairs outside a little tricky, especially if you have mobility issues. Could use some handrails. Location was great, literally a couple of miles to the Seaport. Lots of restaurants and bars .

Large attractive home. Near downtown.
The few small issues were addressed quickly by the owner and his agents who were pleasant and helpful. There are stairs as noted in description.
Just before we came I developed a back and leg problem that made them challenging. No problem for anyone with normal mobility

This home was spacious and overall nice. The location to Mystic and most essential things was ideal. The grill is a nice touch. A few things we found disappointing was that the was no central air conditioning, just portables, which meant one of the rooms had no air conditioning (it was a bit warm). The disposal did not work and the drain did not drain well on that side. We like to cook and we could not find any measuring cups or spoons?? Cookware/dishes/glassware were fair. There was no cable or streaming on the TVs to see local news or typical major stations for viewing if desired. The dishwasher leaked and then stopped working after the first day (there was a storm, so this may have been the culprit). We are not the greatest early risers and the 11AM checkout is typical, but in other locations we've stayed, there is a bit of a grace period. Here, they were knocking on the door at 11AM sharp and the owners were there shortly after. Our daughter was unloading the dishwasher on the first day and broke a wine glass. We felt we cleaned it up well, but seemed to have missed a piece and as we are leaving for the airport the owner's wife or significant other rushed out to show us a piece of glass that was found and questioned us as to where the glass came from; we had to reiterate that it was a wine glass. We just found this awkward at best. The sheets in the master bedroom did not fit well. Overall the home did not have niceties we expect for price.

Hi Charles, thank you for your review. After reading your feedback, the homeowner wanted to address a few points:
- Our listing clearly states the 11 AM checkout time and an extension would have been possible if requested in advance.
- We apologize for the discomfort caused by the lack of central air conditioning. Although that room did have a fan, we have since installed an AC unit.
- There was some damage to the home that was not disclosed during your stay. We have had a cleaning service thoroughly clean and inspect the home since. We have also replaced the dishwasher and garbage disposal which look like they suffered a short as a result of the storm.
- The encounter regarding the broken glass was intended to clarify and address the damage; we apologize if it felt awkward.
Thank you for your feedback. Our goal is to ensure all our guests have excellent stays.
The property was great and had plenty of space for our family including a separate office with desk and large screen monitor. This was perfect as I needed to work several days so was
an ideal way to get work done in a quiet space while the family had the rest of the house for relaxation. Everything was clean and in good working order. Property is nicely landscaped and we enjoyed the back deck. We walked to downtown mystic which took about 20 min and was through a nice neighborhood. Two things to consider is the property does not have central air and it was hot when we visited. The in window and floor standing air conditioners were adequate if you closed the bedroom doors and the house is located close to the freeway so there is a constant road noise but that was tolerable for us. Overall we would stay here again as location is very very convenient to everything the area has to offer.

Overall we enjoyed our stay! The close access to the highway, 20 min to Mohegan Sun and close to downtown Mystic was a bonus. The layout of the house, spacious living spaces and kitchen were delightful. Only thing worth noting was there is no handrail leading up to the front door. There is one leading to the first landing, but not to the door itself. We would recommend and would stay again!
