    This is the second time we stayed at this lakefront escape (first time was 2023). My family and I absolutely love it. It is quiet and the view of the lake is stunning. It is very hard to impress teen boys and when they said “best vacation ever”- we knew we did something right. My family are big with fishing and kayak so this property was perfect for us. The property itself has everything you need- I cooked almost every single night. We also ventured out to Ender Forest Park and enjoyed the hike and waterfalls (and it’s FREE). We also have to visit the old mill pond a mile down the road and it has a general store, antique and everything Christmas. The property is also very close to six flags Agawam. It was the original reason why we booked it but ended up only going there once this trip and stayed at the property for the most part kayaking and fishing (catch & release). The owners were extremely accessible and helpful throughout our stay. As much as I want to gatekeep this place- I want to share our experience with families who love peaceful quiet and relaxing lakefront retreat. Yes- there’s 70 steps to the property and that is very clear from the start but for us it’s worth it. If climbing up and down is an issue- then maybe this is not for you but if you want extra leg workout while on vacation- it’s amazing lol. It’s all about balance, right?
