    The home was in excellent condition and very clean. The layout was very convenient for our family, and the kids loved the pool (though it is not heated, and it was pretty chilly even in August). All appliances and such worked just fine.The only reason I am giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that when we arrived, a smoke detector was chirping, and it took a couple hours to diagnose and fix the problem. This was a stressful start to the visit.

  • Poor management and dirty

    There was no communication prior to the beginning of the reservation. I tried contacting the management team for check in info but received nothing until 15min after the beginning of our reservation. When we received the check in info it was wrong and the key was no longer where they said it would be. When we finally got into the property there was obviously no cleaning done to it. There were dirty dishes in the sink, the towels and sheets were in the hall, and the floors were sticky. When the cleaning crew finally showed up an hour later they took another hour to finish the work (which I don’t fault them for). The book with the check-in/out information was filled with false information and the phone call was not the owners. The pool outside was dirty, filled with sand, leaves, and a dead mouse. The house was overall disappointing. We paid way too much for a house that wasn’t well maintained and the management was very poor.
