Nice clean and comfortable space. Close and convenient to the beauty of Denver. Close to Sloan Lake. Which is a nice place to go for a run/walk.

  • Cozy house with nice backyard.

We liked our stay but it is on a corner with a very busy noisy street so we had to sleep with ear plugs in and still could hear the traffic! We loved the house and backyard. The only other strange thing was either the owner or manager was living in a camper on the other side of the backyard fence. We felt kind of strange as VRBO advertises that you are completely alone! We could see into the camper, lights and TV...felt like we were being watched.

    Manager's Response:

Hi Sue, we passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We strive to ensure that our guests have an exceptional experience with us and provide elevated levels of hospitality. We're glad to hear you enjoyed your overall stay! As we aim for guest satisfaction, we're sorry for any discomfort caused by the RV. It belonged to our contractor, who used it mainly for sleeping during the two months he was working on property updates. He was away most of the day, returning at 6 p.m. For privacy measures, we've installed a taller, double-sided privacy fence, as shown in the new yard pictures, to enhance privacy and security. We truly do our very best to deliver an exceptional experience, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays.

  • Great Stay!

We had a great stay in Wheat Ridge! The house had all everything we needed and is close to walk to anything you need ….food…liquor store.

    Look forward to coming back!

  • Very satisfied with our stay! Just what we were looking for!

This VRBO was at a great location in the northwest Denver area. It is right off of a main street that takes you to a lot of things (and quicker highway access). I stayed here with my girlfriend and our two dogs. We didn't use the two extra rooms, but they looked just as nice as the main bedroom. The kitchen & washer/dryer area was stocked with most of the essentials. There were trash bags, paper towels, laundry detergent, plates, utensils, and some basic condiments (assuming left behind from other guests). We had brought our own supplies just to be safe, but we didn't end up needing most of it. The patio space is the highlight for sure. The hot tub was kept primed at 100 degrees and is pretty simple to turn on and operate. We used the hot tub every night during our 4 night stay. The couch/chairs outside were very comfortable as well. Most of our trip was consumed with hiking/adventuring around west Denver and Boulder. We weren't at the VRBO the majority of the time, but when we were, we were mostly hanging outside on the patio or sleeping.

Only cons (weren't a big enough deal to us to reduce the rating, but some people might find this information helpful/important)....The street noise was kind of loud at night due to being the corner house (right next to the main street). The owner provided some soft/disposable earplugs to use to sleep with if needed to counteract this. The master bedroom (where we slept) was further from the main street, but the two smaller bedrooms would be on the side of the house closer to the street. Another thing to note is that the owner does live in a detached building on the back side of the property. If you find that weird, this may not be the place for you. The property is divided by a wood fence in the backyard to give privacy so it doesn't feel like you're sharing the same backyard.

This was one of very best experiences with a VRBO. Completely stocked home (very rare) with anything you might need for cooking, playing, lounging and resting. The hot tub was a wonderful addition at the end of each day. The house is very well decorated and felt very homie. We will make this our go to rental from now on when we come to visit our family in Denver. I wish we had found this one years ago. Thanks for everything.
