Great place for skiing fun

Our group of 8 had a wonderful stay at this condo for a ski weekend. It was very comfortable (love that there is so much living room seating), cute, and clean. It was a bonus to have some covered parking. The buses didn't run as frequently to the slopes as we anticipated, so we ended up walking some, but the walk wasn't bad. We would stay again!

Great rental with everything you need

Great location. Walking distance to one of Vails main Gondolas. Very clean property with tons of amenities. 2 bathrooms. Fireplace was a plus after being one the mountain. Exceeded our expectations.

Nice place but some issues

This will be a pretty honest review of this condo.

First, the owner is very nice and responsive, so let me start with that. Second, the location is good if you are skiing at Vail. Third, the kitchen is nice. Fourth, the W/D in unit were useful additions. Fifth, the TV apps / wifi were all set up, which was great for kids.

The issues we had were primarily infrastructure related:

(1) Plugs and light switches did not work

(2) The hot water heater intermittently got cold / overheated

(3) Thermostats were not working properly in rooms

(4) Parking was an issue - specifically, people complained that we parked our SUV in the unit's parking space (we're still unclear what the complaint was).

(5) The unit had a very musty smell

(6) The bathrooms were not very clean upon arrival

These are all fixable things, but money needs to be spent to correct them / make sure the unit is ready for guests.

The pros probably outweigh the cons, so we'd give it 3 stars, but we've stayed at better places at this price point that don't have these issues. If these issues are fixed, I'd update our rating.

Owner's response: "Nitin, The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following:
- We were happy to accommodate you with an early check-in so that you could get your delivery. Our property manager was onsite to assist you with all of your issues and they did their best to take care of you.
- We spoke to the property manager who has assured us that all plugs and light switches work properly. They did not get any feedback from you about this during your stay.
- We have installed a new high-capacity water heater that is less than a year old, this has never been an issue before. If longer than normal showers are taken back-to-back the hot water will eventually run out.
- All the smart thermostats located in each room are fully functional and can be adjusted manually onsight.
- Due to heavy snow, cars previously parked in the garage may have had snow melt off their vehicles that compiled on the garage floor, but we have photos that show, the snow was minimal. Due to the way your vehicle was parked, we were notified by our HOA to address the issue of the parking of your extra-large SUV. Your parking made it difficult for other tenants to navigate the garage which is why it was suggested that you park your vehicle outside. We apologize for the inconvenience.
- We take a great deal of pride in ensuring our unit is always clean and guest-ready before check-in. You never told the property manager that you experienced any odors while at the property. You also never shared that you thought the bathrooms were not clean when you arrived, this is information that is vital and would have been helpful while at the property so that we can rectify any issues.
- We continually respond to any negative feedback received from our guests in a timely manner. We believe our property manager did everything he could to help you, we're sorry that you were not satisfied.
We are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver those 5-star experiences we are known for."

Great vail place

Very nice place. Great location!! Easy communication. Would stay again. Unfortunately we had alot of rain so had to stay indoors most of our time in vail. But this condo was spacious had alot of amenities. Was well stocked and made it more fun.
