Great property, perfect location and wonderful hosts. The house is appointed well, and so convenient to trails and the small hamlet of Twin Lakes. The kitchen is stocked for a gourmet meal at home, and fresh coffee in the morning. The views from the house are gorgeous.

Thank you so much Linda for your kind words and for being such a considerate and communicative guest. Diane is a professional Chef, and we own a cooking school, so having a modern fully stocked kitchen is a must. We hope you will choose to come back again soon and be our guest.

Super cute cabin. Everything was great. Host was very communicative. The Mountain View from the 2nd floor was amazing. Short hike to a beautiful view of the lakes. Make sure to use the provided bug spray as the mosquitoes will get you.

  • Amazing Twin Lakes Stay!

    5/5

We had such an amazing stay at this property. The location is absolutely incredible - right on the highway driving through the twin lakes village. We stayed Monday - Wednesday, so perhaps the highway would have been busier on weekends, but it was not an issue for us.Twin Lakes is beautiful and you are close enough to do some great walking / hikes out the front door. We didn't do any long hikes (we drove to those) but the walks along the water / on the little trail at the national historic area (literally across the street) was awesome. There are also trails we mountain biked on (the hosts let you use their mountain bikes!!) along the lake that were gorgeous. You could probably bike / walk 2 miles or so along the lake just from the property, or more! The home itself was very clean and so charming. Very rustic, unique and comfortable. We loved having three full bathrooms and two very comfortable and spacious bedrooms. The master suite is wonderful, and the other bedroom is so charming too. No A/C but the open windows letting in fresh mountain air kept it nice and cool. The hosts could not have been nicer. So friendly with such great recommendations. They also gave us a coupon to go to the farm store next door - where the staff was so kind and the food (they make hot dogs, sandwiches, etc) was simple yet delicious and filling and the farm fresh eggs goods were wonderful. They were incredibly responsive and the experience was so worth it. BOOK THIS PLACE!

From the Owner: "Thank you, Roiglen, for being such an incredibly kind and considerate guest. Diane and I are so pleased to hear that you had an awesome time at Alpine Haven.
Our lake cabin is the closest to the Lakes in the National Historic District of Twin Lakes.
To clarify, we are located on the scenic Independence Pass, the gorgeous two-lane route to the Continental Divide, and 32 miles from Aspen.
We look forward to hosting you again!"

  • Amazing experience!

    5/5

It was truly a pleasure staying at your Airbnb. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the thoughtfulness and care that went into every aspect of the space. Your impeccable sense of style is evident in the way each corner of the house is so beautifully curated. The attention to detail, from the furniture to the decor, really elevated the experience.

The design of your home is not only tasteful but also creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's clear that a lot of time and effort was put into making the space both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. I felt at ease and relaxed throughout my stay, and that is a testament to the environment you've carefully crafted.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. It truly enhanced my visit, and I look forward to staying again whenever the opportunity arises!
