5/5 Overall it was a nice roomy place for us to stay at for our son’s wedding in Kiowa. The host was so very responsive and friendly. We would rent here again in a heartbeat! Based on other properties that we have rented, there were just a few things, that in our opinions, need some improvement or advance notice on — Stocking of some essential pantry staples - including salt & pepper. (Someone’s half eaten bag of chips in the cupboard didn’t count. lol) TP in all of three bathrooms - we just ran across the field to the Dollar General and bought some. Dishwasher soap - there was only one loose pod under the sink, so we had to save all the dirty dishes for the end of our stay and hand wash what didn’t fit for checkout. Paper products in general - no spare paper towels, no napkins, and not a tissue in the place. One warning — Simla is a speed trap town! (re: Jason Isbell song.) We literally saw 8 people pulled over in front of the house in the first couple hours after we arrived!

5/5 5/5 Perfect half way point to stay when driving across Kansas to get to Durango. Simla has just built a Dollar General with in walking distance. We will be booking again for next years trip.

Great place
4/5 It was a very nice house but got hot with no AC. I wish there was a fan in the main living room. It would have helped with air flow.

1 Night stay
4/5 The home is gorgeous, decorating is beautiful, ,plenty of room, and very clean, beds comfortable, The only thing we noted was the proximity to the highway, we are not use to highway noise. Would stay here again.
