  The location of this little cabin was like something out of the movie “The Sound of Music”. It was absolutely beautiful to be up there. Lots of windows so you can always see the view. Deer and elk were everywhere. You could hear the elk in the early morning. The cabin was cozy. Only wish it had a microwave and dishwasher. Plenty warm enough.

• Better then imagined

  I had high hopes for this cabin based off of the pictures and my expectations were exceeded. The cabin itself was beautiful and cozy. We loved the many windows getting to see a full view of the area. There were so many nice touches that showed the owners really care about their cabin and want people to feel at home and welcome. We made a fire inside, played card games and watched sunrises and sunsets. Getting to see and hear the elk herd every day was truly a highlight. I miss this cabin and the perfect location already and we hope to be back!

• Literal Perfection

  I cannot tell you how perfect of a stay this was. I was able to stay for a full week and it was the perfect location for a deep reset in nature (but also with amenities literal steps away 😂).

  The views were unbeatable, the stars were absolutely poppin’ at night, and the cabin was stocked with basic ingredients (spices, butter, milk, coffee, etc), had travel size toiletries available, and had phone chargers in literally every area which was so convenient.

  My dogs loved being able to chase each other in the field and there is a tie out attached to the deck (and space to add your own if you have multiple dogs) so i was able to keep them close by and not have to worry about them wandering too far.

  I had so many friends ask me about where I was staying and I will never stop recommending this property to anyone who asks! I’m already planning to come back in the future 😌

• Breathtaking Views/Perfect Getaway

  This place is magnificent. The views are outstanding, with a backdrop of jagged mountains and aspens. It's tucked away in a quiet little community, so you definitely have a sense of peace and quiet, and the stargazing at night is spectacular. There are NO criticisms for this place, but I will offer a few things to consider before you book: There isn't a microwave or dishwasher, so you'll do things the old fashion way. There is a TV, but it's situated upstairs, in the loft area, and is parallel to the bed. We ended up just reading and didn't use it. The queen bed is located in the loft, and it can get quite warm, so if you're part polar bear like me, you'll be better off sleeping on the couch.We loved this place, and it is close to a few spectacular hikes (recommended: Blue Lakes/Mt. Sneffels), so we hope to stay there again.
