Nice amenities, with the private dock came nice adirondack chairs, grill, 2 kayaks & 1 stand up paddleboard. We stayed in July and outdoor temps would be in high 80s/low 90s, the house doesn't have AC (which is stated on the booking site - no surprises there), but we expected it to cool down in the evening with windows open and all fans running, but no luck. It would be around 86-87 degrees in the house past 10pm. There are ceiling fans in every room + oscillating fans, so the owner has tried their best to help. We made the mistake of cooking dinner the first night and using the oven caused the house to go over 90 degrees inside! Recommend keeping all windows open, all lights and oven off.
Everything looks exactly like the photos, there are really nice board games (collector editions made of wood), giant Jenga, giant Connect Four, plenty of dishes/glasses and even some kitchen basics - salt, seasonings, oil left in the pantry. Just wish it wasn't as hot as it was - but the weather (heat wave) was out of the owner's control.
We also had a toilet issue in the main bedroom, that was fixed same day - so any issues that may come up, rest assured, they should be taken care of ASAP.
Absolutely loved this house! Clean, everything we needed, spacious, lakefront, great views, close to town, we will recommend & stay again!!!

Happy to hear you enjoyed your stay!
This house was perfect for my family of 6. It had everything we needed to be comfortable for the week. You can’t beat the view. We will be back!
We are happy you had a good time. We look forward to hosting your family again soon.
It was good, house warm and cozy and view of lake great. I would suggest that hand rails need to be at front steps and from garage into house as I am very senior and was afraid I would fall. It was nice to have a garage for the rainy weather. Would book again when we go later in the year. Thanks!!!!
From the owner: "Thank you, Margaret. Glad you enjoyed your stay. We will look into handrails, thanks for the suggestion."
