Great private spot for families
5/5 This place was a great home base for activities in Pagosa, Durango, and the surrounding areas. The only missing amenity would have been a hot tub, this could really put this place over the top. As others mentioned, noise from floors above is loud, but that is part of staying in a log cabin. We got used to it by the second night and the fandeliers in the rooms help with the noise and comfort.

Nice house with a few issues
4/5 The house is very nice and located in a beautiful area.
We did enjoy our stay but we did notice a couple of issues that everyone renting it should know… the master bedroom: you can hear every single step coming from the room just above, hese are not little noises but very loud wood floor noises, this means whoever sleeps in the master bedroom will have to go to sleep after the above room users have gone to bed and you will hear loudly anyone getting up from bed. Very very annoying.
As well, we struggled with the curtains im every room and bathroom. These are rolling curtains that are too cheap and do not work well, hard to make them go up at all. The owners should really change these.
Otherwise, the house is great, the local support, Heather was awesome to connect with and address our concerns while we were there.
If the above two issues were solved this would be a dream lodge/cabin to stay at.
Beautiful home
5/5 This is a beautiful, comfortable home. We enjoyed our stay here. Upon arrival, 2 of the 3 propane tanks were empty. After emailing and texting, they came by and filled them up for us so we could use the grill and the fire pit. It was plenty spacious for our family, and we even had an empty room. There is a pack and play there as well if you have littles. Highly recommend staying here.

Great Accommodations for Large Family
5/5 We had ten family members staying at the cabin for our annual Colorado vacation. The cabin was clean, well-stocked, and beautiful. We had no issues with anything while we were there. It's close enough to be convenient to town, but once you're there you would never know it. We loved it and would stay again if we decide to stay in Pagosa Springs again. A fitted sheet for the air mattress would have been good, but everything else was stocked. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin.
