  we stayed on this property in July 2023. We had two couples and one individual. This property was cramped and not clean, and also very dark downstairs. The beds t

  downstairs were very uncomfortable. Bathroom downstairs very small. The cook wear was very old. I actually found mouse droppings in the crockpot that I was hoping to use. Mouse traps several places. Towels very old and raggedy. The upstairs was roomy, comfy bed, but had issues with the toilet flushing and no towels supplied up there. Outside had a area with a table and chairs that was very dirty. Grill very cheap and should be thrown away! I absolutely would not recommend this property!! I have never written a review, but felt this was necessary.

  Upon arrival, floors were dirty and cobwebs full of gnats were found in several places in the kitchen. Personal items like family photos, junk drawer posessions, and old food in the fridge were there. Living room furniture was uncomfortable and space was overall tight and awkward. Beautiful scenery outside, but back yard furniture is a little dilapidated and junky. Downstairs bathroom is impossible to get ready in. Upstairs toilet doesn't flush well, and faucet handles full off. There's a nice swing on the back porch, but it was build too close to a post to swing on it unfortunately. Not a terrible stay, but definitely didn't meet expectations.

  - We consistently strive to ensure our cabin is meticulously cleaned before each guest's arrival. Our trusted cleaning company follows the same standards prior to your stay. This season, we've experienced an unusual and excessive amount of rain, which may have contributed to the presence of cobwebs.
  - As we value guest satisfaction, it's reflected in the positive feedback that many previous guests left about. They enjoyed the inviting and comfortable amenities found throughout our cabin and accurately advertised in the photos of our listing. Our cabin maintains a vintage charm and, while older in style, is clean and well-maintained. In addition, our photos feature spacious living areas, including the kitchen, dining room, family room, and upstairs bedroom/bathroom, all providing ample room for comfortable living.
  - In regards to the personal belongings, there are two small personal pictures placed on a bookshelf, and it's disheartening if anyone finds them offensive. This is our cabin, which we occasionally use, and we make sure to remove all personal items upon departure.
  - There is a designated kitchen drawer stocked with batteries, phone chargers, and other items that can be handy for guests during their stay. We make an effort to tidy it up after each guest's departure, though it may occasionally appear disorganized.
  - To ensure efficiency, we repaired the upstairs bathroom sink hardware and evaluated the custom carved seat swing on the back deck. We found that it swings fine as long as it is used as designed.
  We truly do our very best to deliver an exceptional experience, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays.
