While it is indeed an older home, it was comfortable. i appreciated that nearly every room had an additional heater in them to help. I would like to advise other guests that the outside lights were non functional when we arrived after 8pm. We could not see the address on the home and the gps telling us to turn down a unlit alleyway was not helpful. I ended up on the street with a flashlight trying to figure out where we were going. The front door is not the entrance, so walking around the side to an unlit garage (mudroom) entrance did not help.Without the light, it was difficult to figure out the entrance keypad (never dealt with one that had a 2 digit access start and then having to enter your access code, i thought the keypad was broke since only 2 digits lit up initially.)I would like to advise the host, please consider printing an i struction book. Every VRBO we have booked had this helpful documentation including check out instructions as well as the wifi code and more. Maybe also consider some helpful labels on cabinets to aid people in finding their needs. We could not find our emailed instructions that i remebered had the wifi password, so reached but did not get a response until the next day.Other guests had mentioned anti slip for the living room rug and i will echo this. Couple ti es it slid underneath my feet.A little extra cleaning would be nice, specifically outside, backyard had empty beer bottles and cigerette butts in an ashtray.

    Manager's Response:

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for noting that the home was comfortable during your stay. We followed up with the owner, who would like to address the following:
    - Check-in information, including entry instructions and WiFi details, is sent prior to arrival via email and through the booking platform. We encourage guests to review these messages and to reach out to the local guest contact should any questions or issues arise.
    - Exterior lighting, signage, and entry clarity are being evaluated to help ensure smoother evening arrivals for future guests.
    - Guest safety and comfort are important to us, and we’re addressing feedback related to the area rug to help prevent slipping.
    - Exterior upkeep has been shared with our team to ensure outdoor spaces meet our cleanliness standards.
Thank you again for your feedback, as it helps us continue improving the experience for future guests. We appreciate your stay and hope to welcome you back in the future.

Overall the house was great. Easily accessible and close to UNC. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Kitchen appliances are updated and clean. Bathroom is a bit outdated but did the job for us.
