Our party of 2, along with our dog, stayed at the property for a week in May. We selected the cabin because of its proximity to Rocky Mountain NP & appealing mountain towns. The property was easy to access and was located at the end of the lane, so it afforded great privacy. The "best ofs" included mountain views, proximity to town, unique architectural features, large scale windows that offered views of the mountains from the main living spaces, beautiful hardwood floors, easy WIFI access, & a fun Bluetooth speaker. While we were grateful for all the positives, we feel it is also important to highlight the areas that require action, so they can be addressed. Our biggest concern was related to the keyless entry system. We were provided a code (no key) to open the main door. Throughout our 7 day stay, we were continously frustrated by the fact that it did not open smoothly. We essentially had to thrust our shoulders into the door to gain access. There were also 2 times that we could simply not get in, so we had to use the spiral staircase to access the 2nd floor, enter that door, and scale the metal ladder to get down to the main floor and open the door from the inside. While the 2nd floor access did not negatively impact us, it should be noted as a potential negative for parties with more than 2 guests who will need to use the beds upstairs. The space is inviting, but the only access is through the outdoor spiral staircase or vertical ladder (with no slant) that leads down to the foyer. There is no bathroom upstairs, so this means in inclement weather or during the night, the only way to access the bathroom is to go outside and use the (unreliable) keyless entry to gain access to the main floor or use the ladder. Our next issue related to attention to detail and overall tidiness of the space. There were outlets with no (or broken) covers, paintings with chipped glass, a Nest with low batteries chirping continously upon arrival, only 2 of 6 lights functioning in the primary bathroom, motion light on the front porch was out (& had to be replaced), dirty outdoor furniture,
porch rug was lightweight, held down by rocks, dirty pots & kitchenware, filthy area rug with tear in the corner, TV being stored on the floor in primary bedroom, & no access to gas for grill. We appreciate the responsiveness of our contact, but we were not pleased that we had to deal with such inconveniences, so many that should have been proactively addressed by the cleaning crew.
We were a group of four adults and one child. This house was in a wonderful location, with absolutely beautiful views. I may have been distracted by the beauty of the house and views to have paid close attention to the listing information but the location/access to the second bedroom would be problematic for anyone with accessibility needs or during bad weather (in that indoor access requires climbing a ladder) and probably wouldn't be safe for most young children. But the kitchen was wonderfully appointed and there are a lot of games and movies available for use which was a lovely touch. It's a relatively small space (again hopefully most people pay closer attention to the listing information than I did) so it's a great space to spend with people who really like each other. :) Would be perfect for a couple and/or family with teenagers.

The house is in a nice location and has a wonderful front patio. We encountered some minor issues while staying at the house but the manager was very responsive.

Cabin was beautiful! Lots of trees and views! Bed on main floor not the best and would have liked regular TV to watch football etc. Kitchen and baths were fantastic!
