Great view, peaceful, comfortable stay in nature.
5/5 9 minutes on paved and excellent dirt roads to delicious coffee and breakfast, 14 minutes from Florissant National Monument, 28 minutes to Mueller State Park visitor center, 30 minutes to 11 Mile Marina North Shore, 35 minutes to Cripple Creek. For being in the quiet woods above the town of Florissant, every activity we did felt very easy to access. The extremely well decorated, clean cabin was well outfitted with comfortable mattresses & linens, furniture, everything we needed in the kitchen, a garage and carport (for inclement weather). WiFi speed was ok (we're used to Fiber Optics speed) and we had cell service. The property managers were available quickly for communications. We had a couple of minor issues that were promptly taken care of. Entry was easy. The extra perks we appreciated: heated tile floor in the main bathroom, spices and herbs, basic and beyond pantry items, fire ring with chairs out back (we didn't use it due to fire danger), big deck with an amazing view of Pike's Peak, ! I'd forgotten how rejuvenating it is to be surrounded by quiet and nature. We had a fantastic stay and can't wait to return. Thank you property owner for opening your second home to us.
