This home has many positives that added to our sister retreat. It is located in a great location! It is a 5 minute drive to main street in Estes park, and just a short drive to the entrance to Rocky Mountain NP. The kitchen is well stocked with all that is needed to make a gourmet meal, plates, utensils and full range of glassware.
The highlight of the stay was the herd of elk, all sizes and shapes, hanging out in the yard right outside the front door. And please believe the signs that say to remove all food from your vehicle due to possible bear break-ins!! We had a bear visitor one evening, and luckily he only opened our empty cooler in the driveway, and then went on to knock over all the trash cans lined up at each house on the block. Overall I would stay at this home again! The experience was wonderful!
Right from the start, everything was so seamless. Our check-in was really easy and from the beginning, we had all the comforts of home. The first morning we woke up to a yard full of mule deer and sweet birds. There’s a notebook full of information and everything is so close and convenient. We had reservations for RMNP for a few days and also visited Lake Brainard one day for an incredible hike (and 2 bull moose). We also enjoyed the farmers market on Thursday. We just loved our time at this home. Thanks for letting us stay here.

This is our favorite VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. There was pride of ownership in everything. Real furniture, real dishes, little touches to make it feel like home. We will definitely be staying here again.

The small details!! The big details! This is one of our fav vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. You can tell this is a true vacation home for the family and not just a rental.
Real furniture and special details make it feel like home!
We will def stay there again
This property was perfect for our family of 4 plus two more adults. The community was very quiet and easy to get to. The house was spacious and provided all the amenities we needed. It was cold while we were there so the fireplace was a bonus to have! We traveled with two children and they had enough room to play and they slept well in the twin beds. Check in was a breeze and we have no complaints about our stay! Would highly recommend this property for your next family stay!
