The cabin and location were fine. However, we went two days without water related to cistern problems. Also, we were expected to keep our trash in the cabin because there was no receptacle provided, outside. We were given the option to check out early and reimbursed for one day related to lack of water. I have still not received a refund. I was told 3 to 5 business days. It's been 12 days total and I'm still waiting. I have not received any emails following up on the refund. I would never recommend your service or use it again. We were very understanding about the water situation but the refund should have been promptly issued.

Hi Angela, we're glad you enjoyed your stay overall, but sorry you encountered a couple of issues.
- We apologize again for the water issue. The homeowners let us know that they brought you gallons of water to help but were not able to have the water restored until the next day.
- The owners also mentioned that they offered to send their housekeeper to collect the trash but did not hear back regarding this request.
- We did our best to find a fair solution, and we are sorry that this caused you to leave early and that our Evolve team was delayed in sending you that refund.
Our goal is to make vacation rental easy for everyone, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve.
Husband and I needed a little downtime. The place is quiet, peaceful, secluded, beautiful. We were able to relax and enjoy the scenery. Property was very accommodating.

We absolutely loved this place and did not want to leave. Beautiful setting with mountain views and it is surrounded by pine and aspen trees. We were there for 8 nights in late September and early October so the aspens were at their peak. We found the location to be great with easy access to Pike’s Peak, Valley of the Gods, Cripple Creek, Victor, the Wolf Sanctuary and Mueller State park. Great hiking in the park. Make sure you do the Molly Kathleen mine tour also. The house is cozy. It was just the two of us so we used the other bedroom as a place for our suitcases. New grill on the deck with a picnic table which we used many mornings for breakfast. With just one bathroom it might get a bit tight if there were too many more people other than a couple of kids or another couple. Deer in the yard two mornings. Probably the only down side is that it is fairly close to the road that runs to Cripple Creek so there is some traffic noise. Water has to be trucked into the cistern for the house so you do have to watch your water usage a bit but we never had any issues and a neighbor showed us how to check the water level. There is no cell phone coverage (at least on ATT) and no internet but we didn't miss either. Well stocked with DVD's. Go to Russ' Place in Divide for really good and innovative hamburgers plus you get to rub elbows with the locals. Also in Divide is McGinty's Wood oven pub which has good pizzas. If we are in the area again we would most certainly stay here again.
