  We stayed nearly 2 months at Two Wolves after returning to the States from Ireland and it couldn't have been a more welcoming temporary home for us. While it snowed outside, we were warm and cozy inside. The accommodations are everything anyone could ever want or need. Our host, Alan, was accessible, helpful and on-the-spot with recommendations for various things around the Denver area.

  When it was time for us to go, we were sad to say goodbye to the place that nurtured us for those many weeks and yet so thankful.

  I couldn't recommend Two Wolves more. It's a wonderful home away from home.

  Super cozy accommodations made it so much easier to spend Christmas away from our home and family. We will stay here again in the future. Highly recommend. Perfect for families. Pet friendly.

• having the home to yourself

  i always hear vrbo commercials say, you always have the whole place to yourself. not the case in this situation. i assumed the location would be as vrbo advertises, without the host. i made the mistake of assuming this, and in actually the host lives in the basement. i should have read the description better because it clearly states the host lives in the basement. i am bothered at the fact that VRBO claims to have "host free" locations when they actually don't. seems like false advertisement. i would not have chose this location if i would have read every detail of the description.

  also i did not like the fact that i was going through VRBO and then another 3rd party called Evolve. seemed a little complicated to me. i might just use the other BNB next time or get a hotel.

  the host introduced himself upon arrival and was very kind and cordial. this is not a jab against him.

  Hi Hunter, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  - We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were disappointed to hear your feedback and want to take a moment to address your concerns.
  - We take our listing accuracy seriously and note on the listing, "The homeowner lives on site, in a completely separate downstairs unit, and may be present during your stay," but we're sorry if this caught you off guard. It is important to note that guests do have the entire home as advertised in our listing photos.
  We follow all state and local laws to possess a STR license. In Denver, it's a requirement that the property not only be a primary residence but the owner must be on-premise as well. The basement suite was built according to the guidelines to run a STR thus the totally separate suite. Our attention to detail is what we strive for. Our licensing is displayed on the kitchen wall. Evolve is our management team and thus they list us on many platforms. I work with them directly.
  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

• Denver Thanksgiving

  Since it's too inefficient to get to our town via air travel for a long weekend, we drove over the Rockies with our dog to meet our two young adult children, who both live in other states, and their significant others in Denver for Thanksgiving. This home was a good fit for us with its large yard for the pup and many lovely parks, lakes, and hiking (walking) areas within a reasonable distance. We had a great Thanksgiving weekend! Alan was wonderfully communicative for any of our needs and went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.
