Very clean and as described. We were upgraded to another larger house they have on the property and we were stoked about that! Easy check in/out and no issues with anything inside.

I reserved a VRBO that unfortunately had water issues and the owner was quick to communicate and get us into a different home which was very nice. It had a lovely deck and outdoor space where we spent some time. We did have one issue with the gas grill but that was resolved and the king bed was a little high for my 87 year old parents to get into so a stool there would have been beneficial otherwise it was a great place, clean and with all the amenities needed.

On the positive side:
-the rental property was tastefully furnished
-the layout of the house was pleasing
-the view out the living room window was wonderful
-the beds were comfortable.
On the negative side:
-communication with Kim, the owner, was not good. According to the information we received, check in started at 3:00 PM. We arrived at 3 PM and the house was being cleaned. I spoke with Kim and she said the property was not ready because they had had back-to-back renters. I volunteered that we could do grocery shopping while they finished cleaning. When we returned at 4:00 PM, the property was still not ready. I would not have minded if Kim had communicated this to me. As it was, though, we were traveling with my 94-year-old father and we were counting on getting into the property at 3 PM so we could all rest. When we entered the house, the floors were not clean. We both swept and used a vacuum to clean up what looked like crumbs on the floors in the bedrooms and in the kitchen. Also, I reported to Kim that the dishwasher had soap scum all over the inside, there was a nasty smell coming from it, and the lower rack was broken. Also, the smell coming from the disposal in the sink was nasty. These are things they must have noticed while they were cleaning the kitchen. And yet Kim said nothing about it. I contacted Kim using the same texting thread Kim had initiated. She never responded.

Property provided a wonderful view and freedom to walk through the meadows and hills. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed to prepare meals and there were really good and reasonable restaurants nearby for when we didn't want to cook. Overall, it was a very pleasent stay. My only suggestion is to consider the type of vehicle you drive if you stay when there is snow. With a couple of inches of heavy, wet snow, we were challenged to get off the property due to the steep nature of the drive. The owners did come to our rescue (thank you!). Great place to stay but have a high profile car and/or snowtires if there is snow in the forecast.

This home in Conifer has comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, a modern remodel, and was cozy and warm for our winter stay. Located near grocery stores, restaurants, and gas stations, it was a nice escape to the mountains yet close to conveniences. The owner is a welcoming host, readily available by text or phone when we had questions about the property during our stay. She checked in with us to ensure we were happy with our accommodations during our visit and gave us suggestions for hiking and sledding on the property (over 100 acres of land). We felt warmly welcomed by the owner, and look forward to visiting again!
