It was so difficult to leave. We enjoyed our stay immensely! The cabin is remote and serene. The view is amazing and the wildlife is everywhere. We really appreciated the bird seed to fill the balcony feeder.

We needed to get away from everything. This was amazing for us is exactly what we needed! Thank you

Loved the cabin and location. It was perfect for our stay in the mountains. We were close to all that we wanted to do, and very comfortable in our happy cabin getaway. My favorite thing was waking up to the blue mountain view everymorning. Great cabin! Loved it, and would definitely rent again!

My time at Cabin in the Aspens was perfect for my little personal retreat away from the family! (#SelfCare!!) The house was cozy and perfect. I absolutely loved all the windows that allowed natural light in all day!! This little mountain community is perfect, and because the forest isn't very dense, the stars were absolutely phenomenal at night!! I can't wait to make this trip my own personal annual tradition!!
The only thing that surprised me was the unpaved roads once you got off Hwy 285. (Don't wash your car before the trip - no point! Ha!) They weren't fully gravel roads, just not paved like a hwy.
A few other positives:
* there's a humidifier by the bed upstairs; it was very helpful for the dry air
* ice trays in the freezer so you can take your leftovers home without stopping to get ice on the way home (bring some ziplocs)
* no need to bring coffee filters (didn't see it listed, so I bought some but there were already plenty)
* great hosts!! Thank you!!
