• Felt at home and in a great spot

  Had a small group of young adults in town for an annual local athletic event, which happened to be based across the street! Convenient location if you're looking for a quiet but still relatively centrally located house, good for a few couples or a friend group. Great access to all the parks, recreation, and other activities close to the foothills. Responsive, kind, flexible host who let us stay a slight bit over. Would love to stay again , felt like home

  We booked this location during a work conference because of how great the reviews were and how clean the house looked. But upon arrival to the actual property, we were extremely disappointed and concerned. The entire basement was moldy and needed a humidifier running around the clock. We found a litter box scoop and cat litter in the sofa bed once we pulled it out of the couch, and candy bar wrappers were found there as well. The back door would hardly open because it appears to have been reinstalled after being kicked in at some point. We had homeless people right outside our window, witnessed drug use nearby, and even witnessed indecent exposure by homeless people in the area. The home was not clean, to the point that we didn't feel comfortable taking our shoes off or using the showers. We left the home within 8 hours of arriving and found other lodging in Colorado Springs. When we contacted the property owner and Evolve about a refund due to safety concerns only, we were told that the issues reported "do not fall under our Rest Easy Promise" and that the "property owner is not responsible for the neighbors or surrounding property." It's clear to us that the reviews left on this property have either been fabricated or the poor reviews have been removed. We did not receive our money back and are extremely disappointed in the way this was handled. We will not be using Evolve again, and will not be renting any properties owned by this individual.

  Awesome Place to stay. Quick communication with Matthew. He was very helpful and he made sure we felt right at home. Well furnished home.

  Great experience for first timers. So close to everything.

  Words coming straight from my cousin's mouth: It was great to be honest I would rent it again next time I go if it's available,no doubt.

  Our realtor was wonderful and very responsive. He quickly responded to our questions. He had a lot of suggestions as to where to travel. He also provided us with a lot of basic items which made traveling from a longer distance easier. The video games and ping pong table were a big hit for our family. That being said, this older home needs a little love. There were a few problems with the electricity and we had to reset the fuse a few times. All in all , we definitely enjoyed our stay here.
