Great location
4/5 This is a very comfortable older home with everything we needed for 3 older couples. The kitchen is very well equipped and we used the outdoor grill. Very large living space and beautiful outdoor deck. The neighborhood is lovely, just minutes from the Broadmoor Hotel.
The only drawback is that 3 of the 4 bedrooms are downstairs and the house appears as a ranch on the photos. Also due to the age of the house, the electrical system is older and the downstairs bathrooms are not equipped for using any hairdryers or curling irons.
Overall, very clean, very comfortable home and the hosts, Susan and Larry were so nice!

A Great Family Time in the Springs
5/5 The Colorado Springs property we rented was a great home away from home. From the time we were greeted by the onsite caretaker to the hour of our departure, we had all we needed for our stay. This home is well equipped with everything we needed to host our children and grandchildren for five days. I love that the items we usually need to bring along of purchase when we arrive were there for us to use. (plenty of TP, paper towels and Kleenex!) The deer who visited the side yard were a special treat for our grandkids.
While the layout of the home is different with a real maze of bedrooms downstairs, the master bedroom and ensuite bath are luxurious. Since our family members came and went based on their work schedules, everyone was comfortable with their overnight visits.
The location of this property is amazing. We walked over to the massive Broadmoor Hotel property a few times during our stay. The hotel was being decked out for Christmas. Our only disappointment was that they did not light the outside tree lights while we were there. I'm guessing that this will not happen until after Thanksgiving.
If you stay in this home, be sure to visit the amazing Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. It is five minutes from the house and though small compared to other zoos we have visited, it is so much fun for adults and kids. Our family fully enjoyed our visit! My husband and I also visited the Olympic Museum about 10 minutes from the house. For those who have grown up watching the Olympic Games it is a real treat!
Thanks for providing a great place for families to gather. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Colorado Springs.
