5/5 Great place - lots of room to gather for enjoying the outdoors, a meal, or sports on TV. The deck was especially nice as were the views!So handy to have access to a washer and dryer.

4/5 The house was basically clean. Our room was clean and the bedding clean. The kitchen had all the appliances and utensils needed. The location was gorgeous. Views are beautiful and we enjoyed traveling through Salida and neighboring towns.

5/5 If you're looking for a super upscale, white-linen place, keep looking, this is not it. What it IS is a wonderfully cozy and comfortable cabin with everything needed for a great stay. The beds are comfortable, the TV is large and worked well, there is WIFI and a washing machine/dryer and wonderful couches and recliners. The deck was wonderful, with hummingbirds flitting about and horses in the pasture. The owners are also super responsive and nice. Even though the space is comfy, get out and explore! Salida, just up the road, is a quaint and attractive former mining town with a wonderful art-and-food-filled downtown. Canon City is about an hour's drive and worth it with so much to see and do. Enjoy!
