  This cabin was wonderful. The layout, furnishings, and amenities—all great. Master suite with ample balcony was upstairs. Double-sized bunk beds in the downstairs bedroom. Having separate baths was great. Beautiful view of Quandary Peak from the front. In the afternoons we would sit on the balcony which looked out on the forested area behind the Cabin. Saw lots of chipmunks, magpies, swallows and even a moose! 10 minutes from Breck. Kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and cooking utensils. We loved this place.

• Wonderful mountain get-a-way!

  We loved this cabin! Everything from the layout, the furnishings, the way they stocked the place—so thoughtful! We had two older adults and two 20s. We (parents) stayed in the spacious master suite on the second floor. The 20s stayed in the double sized bunk beds on the ground floor. Having two separate bathrooms was awesome! We loved sitting out front in the mornings, looking out onto Quandary Peak. In the afternoon, we’d sit on our upstairs balcony with a cup of hot tea, looking out into a lush pine forest. (In June!) Breck was just 10 minutes up the road, and the Hoosier Pass trailhead was also just a few minutes away. WiFi worked great! They thought of just about everything you could need, cooking-wise—a griddle for pancakes, a kettle for tea, toaster, skillets, stockpots. We cooked in quite a bit. All appliances worked great. The place was very clean, and lots of space for our stuff. We saw lots of chipmunks, magpies, and even a moose out our windows! The stars at night were unbelievable. We could not have been happier.

  Great log cabin in forested neighborhood about 6-7 miles south of Breckenridge - nice distance to feel surrounded by nature but also close to slopes and Breckenridge businesses. Comfortable and spacious cabin, well equipped for being able to cook, do laundry, and bring our dog. Loved the balcony facing the woods out back - great for having a drink and/or soaking up some sunshine!

• Clean and Cozy

  Clean, cozy and a great location. The cabin definitely lived up to the amazing reviews! We could tell the owners poured a lot of love into this place to make sure it felt comfortable for everyone.

  We visited the first week of August, and although the weather was gorgeous, the cabin did get a little stuffy in the afternoon sun. When we booked we didn’t realize there was no air conditioning. There are plenty of windows to open, but since only a few had screens to keep bugs out, we couldn’t comfortably use all of them.

  A few things we wish we knew before booking (other than the lack of AC) would be that the master bathroom doesn’t have a door and the main level bathroom just has a small shower with no tub.

  Overall, we’d recommend this cabin! It was very clean, well stocked, just far enough outside town to feel peaceful and situated in a quiet neighborhood. The views were beautiful, and we always had a cute fox or chipmunk to watch in the yard. Great place for a family vacation!!
