  Great location at >9000’ elevation with views galore from the living room. Well stocked kitchen and baths. Hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking. Extra bonus points for a visit from a huge bull moose who was as curious about us as we were of him.He came right up to the window. He stayed in the area the next day as I waked to see him munching on grass outside my bedroom window.

  Best VRBO I have ever rented. Easy to find. Peaceful and tons of wildlife. Had a spa day in Black Hawk. Best of all were the outstanding views from every window.

• Awesome place

  We had so much fun. We saw moose, black bears, deer, birds, mice, gophers, and more. It was so nice to come home and relax, while looking out the window. We enjoyed the hitting after long days of sightseeing. The house was clean and spacious. The communication was excellent. The only negative was that it took at least 30 minutes up winding roads to get there, however that’s what you can expect if you’re looking for a mountain home. This was a place we did. It want to leave.

  The place is amazing! Everything was very clean and the place is well maintained. Views of the mountains from every window! The personal notes from the owners were a nice touch! We had a family of five staying there and there was plenty of room. We saw wild turkeys and their chicks every day and the hummingbirds were a real treat. We traveled to Breckenridge, Boulder, RMNP, Golden, and Idaho Springs. Great location to visit so many places in various directions.

  The house was amazing and super clean. We absolutely loved it. When we were hit with a surprise snow storm both the management company and owners were very communicative and ensured we had everything we needed to be safe and enjoy our stay. We can't wait to go back next year! Perfect for a family or for a couples adventure. Highly recommend this property. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and other cooking tools and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing while watching it snow!
