We were extremely impressed by the authenticity of the decor and attention to detail. We brought our 4 yo granddaughter by and we were able to test out some of her Christmas toys in the back yard area. Many thanks for the Christmas tree and decorations that made our stay perfect. We will certainly return!

Great place, very comfortable and lovingly remodeled. Heat wss set too high, furnace noisy. Overall great place to stay, vety walkable as inlaws 4 blocks away as well as bakery coffee shops and brewery s. Would stay again!!!

We used the property as our "home away from home" while attending a family and friends gathering (baby shower) at City Star Brewery in Berthod on Saturday. Loved ones from around the country came in for the gathering so it was nice to have a place nearby for them to pop in to say hello and relax before and after the main event. The historic home is charming and clean! We felt cared about through the thoughtful placement of amenities and kitchen tools. We were happy to find all the tools needed to prepare and serve food for our little weekend gathering. And - while we did not use these items for our short stay - I was happy to see all the little touches on property that were family-friendly, e.g. dishes for toddlers, books and games for children, and even a highchair and pack-n-play available to bring down from the upstairs closet if needed. The yard is fenced and private, providing a secure outdoor space for children to play. Parking was easy and the entry code system worked just fine. I also liked the window blind system that allowed us to adjust the blinds' privacy and light settings. My favorite part of the stay was the Saturday night living room hang time with the fireplace and good company. A delightful stay! We will book again when seeking lodging in Berthoud.
