  Early check-in was available, which made a real difference on a holiday weekend. We arrived, dropped our bags, and got straight out to explore — that kind of flexibility is rare and genuinely appreciated.

  Everything was exactly as advertised. Photos are accurate, the amenity list is honest, and nothing felt like a bait-and-switch. The kitchen was genuinely well-stocked — not just the basics, but thoughtful touches like humidifiers for the altitude, robes and slippers for the hot tub, and quality cookware. We cooked full meals and had everything we needed.

  The furniture was comfortable and the layout worked really well for a group of three.

  The views are the headline. The hot tub on the deck facing the mountains is everything you'd hope for on a cold mountain evening. We used it every night.

  Location-wise, you can't beat it. Downtown Alma is a short walk, Fairplay is 6 miles down the road, Breckenridge is 16 miles north, and trailheads — including Kite Lake with access to multiple fourteeners — are within 20 minutes. We hiked two days and barely had to think about logistics.

  Highly recommend for anyone looking for a well-run, dog-friendly mountain cabin with serious views and easy access to everything the area has to offer.

  The hot tub was divine, kitchen had everything we needed. This was a tough trip after losing one of our dogs and we wanted to get out of the house and it was absolutely incredible. Thank you so much.

• Awesome cabin stay in Alma

  This cabin was perfect for a weekend away. It was very quiet and relaxing, yet an easy walk to Alma's little main street. The cabin was very well stocked with anything you'd need in the kitchen or bathrooms. We also really appreciated the extra conveniences like hot tub slippers, robes, humidifiers, etc. Highly recommend.
