Great Stargazing!
5/5 This house worked great for out family of 4. Close enough to Joshua tree without being in it. We enjoyed the hammocks and fire pit in the back yard! No complaints at all, we would stay there again!

Charming Joshua Tree Getaway
4/5 Pros:
Extremely clean house - inside and out.
Charming decorations - inside and out.
Nice backyard, though we didn't use the firepit/grill/hammocks due to cold temps.
Plenty of room for four adults to spread out.
Wood burning fireplace with wood provided. We had a fire each evening and it was really nice. Note: the lighters provided don't work and need to be replaced. We bought some matches at the grocery store.
Comfortable entertainment room with an Apple TV. Appreciated that the TV was in a separate room from the rest of the house.
Pleasant neighborhood with close proximity to grocery store and Joshua Tree National Park.
Cons:
No dishwasher.
We cooked breakfast and dinner every day and would have appreciated a small bottle of Windex or similar to clean counter, stovetop, etc.
The Folgers coffee provided was terrible. I was glad that I brought my own. I understand that strength of coffee is a personal preference but the Folgers was like weak tea.
No extra kitchen garbage bags provided. We purchased some at the grocery, so not a big deal but it would have been nice to have some available.
Uncomfortable beds. All three beds are very hard and don't provide a restful night's sleep. The pillows aren't great either so I would recommend bringing your own.
Overall rating is a Good+ I would definitely stay again.
