beautiful location. I didn't realize that there was another occupied rental right beside this one. I would have preferred to have know. Upon arrival, the water was not turned on, but owner was able to correct fairly quickly.

From the Owner: "Thank you for the positive review. I completely understand your point about being made aware of the groundskeeper who lives on-site with his family.
There's so much to include in our listing information that not all can be posted right at the top of the listing. We do state the following under "Additional Information". I can understand how it can be missed, because it's further down in the listing.
Additionally, the groundskeeper and his family live on-site, in a separate home with a separate entrance, and share access to some of the outdoor amenities."
I'm not sure why the water was turned off - they were probably doing irrigation maintenance - but I'm glad it was taken care of quickly. Thank you for that feedback."
Very clean with cute decor. Comfortable bedding, ample clean linens and a well stocked kitchen. Only disadvantage was the remote location. They fully disclosed that in description but it was inconvenient to have to drive so far to get supplies when needed. Having the only bathroom on second floor was not ideal but ok. I would suggest adding at least 1/2 bath on lower level. The upper family room level was great! We enjoyed watching movies there. Overall, we had a good stay and felt the accommodations were nice and do recommend it for families.

From the owner: "Thank you Terri for the review and the feedback. We do recognize the location is secluded, which is ideal for some but not all. We also understand the desire for a 1st floor bathroom. It's on our wishlist as well. We try our best to make these clear in the listing, as you noted, and appreciate your visit and review. Thank you very much!"
This charming little place is the perfect low-cost getaway to see the national parks. The only bathroom is upstairs (and the beautiful steps are hard on the feet, so wear shoes), and the bathroom door has a gap, but if you travel with family and don’t have handicaps, it’s not a big concern. Other than that, they thought of everything from labeling the cabinets to providing a first aid kit. It was comfortable and a good experience. Ps. The gate doesn’t work so you need to open it by hand, despite the code.
