Old house with character in a pretty nice spot
3/5 We chose to stay here on a whim as we wanted some time in the mountains. The house is old but charming and is right on the river. Our stay was during the winter and in many ways it felt like the house was outfitted more for summer stays (very light bed linens), but the host was responsive in helping to ensure we were comfortable. The town of West Point is unfortunately a somewhat sad place relative to other towns in the region like Murphys, but it provided easy access to nature.

5/5 The house was perfect for our family of 8 and 2 dogs. Location on the river was great, with small rapids and big rocks to climb on. Relaxing on the deck listening to the river was perfect. The house is stocked with everything needed and more, and we were met with a nice bottle of wine. We will definitely be coming back. This house ranks in the top 3 of our favorite places to go.
