5/5 This place was just lovely. The pictures don’t do it any justice. A great getaway. The cabin was quaint, the sound of the river was phenomenal and unexpected, just what the family needed.

Lovely Relaxing Stay!
5/5 We really enjoyed the magical ambience of this cozy little cabin on the river. While the accommodations are rustic, the property really had everything we needed for a great weekend of unplugged relaxation, with the added bonus of being very close to plenty to do in downtown Truckee or Palisades if desired. The bed and furnishings were clean and comfortable. The outdoor space was really the star, and the soundtrack of the creek and river drowned out the traffic noise from the nearby road, increasing the sense of privacy, which we really enjoyed. We would happily return in the future.

5/5 My daughters, 11 & 14, and I enjoyed watching the river rush by from the kitchen and sitting area in the quaint cabin. Plenty of light, a cozy loft, and a kitchen with amenities made it a perfect base camp for our spring ski trip.

Snowy weekend
5/5 My 3rd time here. Love seeing the river right there first thing every morning. Saw an otter the first time. This year a big coyote on the other side. Cabin has a lot of personality. It's not perfect but staying here just adds to my Tahoe weekend of adventure. It's been winter each time I've stayed so helps to know how to make a fire. Upstairs is like a loft with angles ceiling to watch your head up there. Helps if you are short like me. I'll be back. Maybe for a summer weekend. Thank you

5/5 Beautiful view. Quick drive to Truckee. Perfect for a small family. Driveway is a little confusing to find if coming from the north. Look at maps before arriving.
