  Nice, well kept home. Great for families. Plenty of cooking and preparation space. Nice, spacious indoor and outdoor gathering areas.

  Overall the property was clean and as pictured. While there weren't any structural concerns, cosmetically, the furnishings have seen some wear and a few need attention. Carpet in the main closet seemed to have been patched with multiple types of similar carpet, kitchen cabinetry needs a fresh coat of paint, the oven and cooktop knobs had the references worn off (so you weren't sure what temp you were turning the dial to.) We did appreciate the convenience of having coffee, tea, honey, spices, and the bathrooms outfitted with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion.

  Location was pretty good - just outside the Northern resort. Short drive to Kings Beach and Truckee with plenty of options to gather goods, dine, and shop.

• nice, but disappointing details...

  on our first night at the property, i had brought some nice steaks to BBQ, only to find when ready to grill that the propane tank was empty. we had to borrow a tank from a friendly neighbor. this was the first of several items that should be an easy fix when getting property ready for next guests, but wasn't. other items were there was no laundry detergent, and two of the bathrooms didn't have hand soap. the location was great as you could walk to the village (i only know this from a neighbor, it isn't listed in the property book) and the two decks are nice.

To address these issues, we reached out to Evolve, our property management company, for support.   -While we did have soap available, it may not have been sufficient to meet your expectations. Since then, we have implemented new protocols to ensure all supplies are fully stocked so future guests won't face similar issues.

• Very nice home, convenient,

  Altogether a great stay. Nice house, well equipped.

  I'd given 4.5 stars if I could. There were a couple of drawbacks, relatively minor, but I'm someone who feels 5 stars is for a perfect experience.

  The manager was very responsive to our one outreach.

  The community center was an excellent place to relax and burn some additional energy after snow activities.

• Skii Trip

  This home was great, we had 6 people stay comfortably! It was a very cozy home and very close to Northstar where we skied and snowboarded. Enjoyed watching 3 feet of snow fall while sitting by the fireplace watching TV and playing cards.
