We truly loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! It was worth every penny! We loved how open spacious it was and loved the big windows and high ceilings! The inside was nice & clean! Very comfortable beds as well, we enjoyed staying there & the kitchen was fully equipped we cooked there every night we stayed there. The rec center was perfect & there was ice skating at the Northstar as well we took our family & we all enjoyed it as well. Everything was close by & we didn’t have a hard time with anything. The owner was responsive as well when I had a question. Overall I would come back as I already had recommended it to my family & friends & so many asked about it as I posted pictures it was breathtaking!

The cabin was in a great location and had lots of open space on the main level. Loved the back deck and the spacious front deck.

My family and I enjoy so much our stay at this gorgeous house in the middle of the mountains.
I recommend 100% 👌 your gonna love it everything about this place...
We just stay 3 days and it was not enough seriously to enjoy all the activities at north lake tahoe.
They have a nice private pool jacuzzi tennis and basketball court basically they have all you need.
Beds were very uncomfortable and bedding unclean. Dining room chairs were damaged and dangerous. Thought having to pay over $100 for pool access was too much
Hi Mark, thank you for your review. This homeowner has asked us to pass along the following response:
"Dear Mark, Thank you for choosing to stay at our Northstar property (Evolve listing #284609) and for taking the time to share your thoughts. I'm genuinely sorry to hear that the bedding and dining room chairs did not meet your expectations. We take great pride in providing high-quality bedding and a blend of curated vintage, modern, and mid-century pieces to offer our guests a unique and comfortable experience.
Your feedback is surprising, and I assure you that we are looking into this immediately to ensure that future guests enjoy the quality and comfort they deserve. Regarding the pool access fee, I'd like to clarify that our recreation center, NPOA, charges $10 per person for an all-day pass, and children under 5 are free. I will make sure that this is explicit on our listing to set expectations.
Your comfort and satisfaction are our top priorities, and we're committed to continuous improvement. If you choose to stay with us again, please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly so that I can ensure your experience aligns with the high standards we strive to maintain. Wishing you all the best, and thank you once again for your feedback. warmly, Mitzi"
A really great cabin, fully stocked with amenities and supplies, in a beautiful setting. Arriving here is like stepping into your family cabin, decorated with art and whimsy over the years; casual in style with comfortable furniture. It was fully stocked with paper products, cleaning supplies, and personal care items - not just the thin starter roll or single packet of dishwasher detergent. The kitchen had quality appliances, pots and pans of all shapes and sizes, and enough glasses and dishes for an army. The Owners clearly want you to feel at home here, and have worked hard to ensure that you do.
We spent a great deal of time out on the front deck outfitted with comfy cushions and pillows to take advantage of the setting, a perfect place for morning coffee. A note of caution for those who are more experienced in life (older), the cabin has several short sets of stairs (4 to 8) steps between some levels. This was not an issue for our gimpy ones, but the set between the entry level and the main living area were shallow and our big feet were no match. This was not a problem going up, but attention must be paid on the way down - we mastered the descent within a day or two. This should not deter you from staying here, we loved our stay and will most certainly rent again!
