The best host and house one can get
5/5 Amazed by the hospitality of our host and the beautiful house we got a chance to stay at. Truly worthwhile decision to book. Almost everything one needs was there.

Hi Nicole, thank you for your review. The homeowner would like to address a few points:
- Our listing did note that construction on the second unit could take place during the day, and during your stay, stucco work was being done, which unfortunately caused some noise.
- We offered a refund for a few nights and the cleaning fee as a gesture of goodwill.
- We understand the timing was inconvenient, but the construction has now been fully completed since your stay last April, and there are no longer any major jobs happening. We've even updated the deck and small yard.
We appreciate your feedback and hope you'll consider staying with us again in the future!Spacious but not well maintained
3/5 Numerous issues that could easily be fixed: Horrible driveway that can damage car, forklift in driveway, dirty front porch and poorly maintained rear deck, missing teaspoons, no soap dish in shower, ridiculously tiny sink in extra bathroom, intermittently working coffee grinder, dirty wall that needs painting, odd smell (mildew?). But nice host, comfy bed, sufficiently large and conveniently located.

From the owner: Thank you Daniel for your feedback. Since your stay, the city of Sunnyvale has re-built the curbs, and is repaving the street. Our home is located in “old downtown Sunnyvale”.
With the new back unit, complete, final tasks have been done, including redoing the back deck. Again, appreciate your feedback, and it was a pleasure to have you stay.Lovely and spacious home
